[ QUOTE ]
Parks is a great runner.. but don't count out ALL the backs at E-town.. Anthony Honaker is extremely strong... benches a phenominal amount of weight and is quick as lightning... If I'm not mistaken... I think Honaker and Kiser stuck right with Parks at the regional track meet last year.. could be wrong.. but I'm pretty sure Im not... and James Kiser at E-town is strong and fast.... and Larry Phillips is NOT afraid to lower his shoulder and put a hurt on someone... he's quick and strong, as well.

I believe E-town is going to surprise LOTS LOTS LOTS of folks this year...

[/ QUOTE ]

There is a big difference between having speed, or power, and actually using it on the football field. Kiser is a hoss of a player, and the other kids are okay, but far from top notch RB's.

Spelled it out because 80% of folks call the place ERVINGTON.

No, he was talking about GC's Parks. Pretty obvious if you re-read it.

My bad there, thought he was referring to both Parks and Kiser as being players from "E-Town" .. I didn't read back far enough.

Too bad Burton isn't playing at home Friday

[/ QUOTE ]

That's OK, because Burton will be traveling to Appy not too far from now, and just imagine the intensity with both teams suffering a hard loss just before the season, and then proving to their fans which side can bring the most determination to win the game... and at Riggs Stadium.. it's not going to be a battle, it's going to be all out war.

I agree, it always is a battle between the Dawgs and Raiders. It normally goes down to the wire, I just hope it is not raining....

rain would more than likely favor the Dawgs, not allowing the quick cuts from norton`s speed offense.
